A PEAK Scholarship comes with expectations and opportunities. Please review and stay familiar with the information listed below.

Mental Health Resources

PEAK SCHOLAR EXPECTATIONS

  • Academic

    • Freshmen must earn at least a 2.0 GPA by year’s end
    • Sophomores–seniors must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
    • All report card grades must be C or above
    • D or F on a report card = Academic Probation
    • Academic Probation includes a mandatory improvement plan
    • Failure to follow the plan may result in scholarship termination
    • Scholars below academic standards may not join extracurriculars
  • Mentoring

    • Meet with mentor in person for 4+ hours/month
    • Communicate with mentor at least twice/month (including summer)
    • Respond to mentor communication within 24 hours
  • Programming

    • Attend 4 mentor-scholar events each year
      • Excused only for official school games (with coach note)
    • Participate fully in all class meetings and required activities
    • Respond to PEAK staff within 24 hours
    • Communicate conflicts or emergencies in advance
  • Attendance

    • PEAK tracks attendance at all mandatory events
    • Unexcused absences may lead to scholarship probation
